Handling of personal information
This page sets out, in English, what this website collects and what we do with it. Our privacy policy itself is published in Japanese and that text is the authoritative one; this page does not replace it.
What the contact form collects
This applies to anything you send us through the contact form.

What the job application form collects
This applies to the application form, which is published in Japanese. It is listed separately from the contact form because we use it only for recruitment.
| What we collect | The role you are applying for, your name, your name in kana, email address, telephone number, where you currently work or study, and why you are applying. Name in kana, telephone number and current affiliation are optional. Later in the process we may ask you to email us a CV. |

| What we use it for | Only to run the selection process and to tell you its outcome. Neither the fact that you applied nor anything we learn during selection is used for any other purpose. |

| What we do not collect | Under Article 5-5 of the Employment Security Act and the guidelines issued under it, we do not collect your registered domicile or place of birth, your family's occupation or income, your assets, your beliefs, or whether you belong to a trade union. |
※ If we do not offer you a role, we delete what you sent us within three months of the end of the selection process. This covers any CV you sent us by email.

※ When these load, your IP address and browser information reach the provider. What happens to them from there is governed by the provider's own policy (Google Privacy Policy).
※ What we receive from Google Analytics is statistics only: page views, referrers, approximate region, browser type. We send nothing that identifies you by name or email address, we do not identify individual visitors, and we never join this data to anything you send us through the contact form.
※ To opt out, install Google's Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or disable cookies in your browser. Either way the site works as normal.
